Fine Orientalist oil on canvas depicting a harem or slave market, c. 1880. Signed or titled in Arabic upper left. Oil on canvas, 54 x 44", framed.

Condition:  
An older relining which preserved the tacking edge. Under ultra-violet light, the work shows signs of moderated inpaint and repair covering less than 5% of the surface. The inpaint primarilt consists of touchups to non-critical areas in the background and figures.
